NFCC Membership

InCharge Debt Solutions is a member of the National Foundation for Consumer Credit (NFCC).  NFCC is the most respected name in the credit counseling sector.  For over 50 years, members have offered accurate, honest advice along with fair repayment plans at little or no cost to consumers.  To qualify for NFCC membership, an agency must:

  • Be accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA)
  • Certify its counselors
  • Provide comprehensive budget and credit counseling at a low cost
  • Subscribe fully to best practice standards

InCharge has met all these standards and is proud to display the NFCC seal.

Jump$tart

InCharge is on the Board of Directors of the JumpStart Coalition for Personal Financial Literacy®, a partnership of about 150 national organizations with a goal of advancing financial literacy among students in pre-kindergarten through college.

Council on Accreditation (COA)

InCharge Debt Solutions is accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA).  COA is an international, not-for-profit, independent and highly respected accrediting body that accredits more than 1,400 social service organizations/programs. COA accreditation:

  • Identifies organizations in which consumers may have confidence.
  • Protects organizations against lowering standards.
  • Enables organizations to meet measurement and reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrates accountability in the management of resources.

HUD Certification

InCharge is a U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) -certified housing counseling agency.  HUD grants authorization to qualified private or public organizations which have special competence and knowledge in counseling low- and moderate-income families to provide these housing counseling services.  InCharge is authorized to provide these specialized housing counseling services.

InCharge Best Practices

In addition meeting the standards of excellence required by the NFCC, COA, and BBB, InCharge Debt Solutions actively monitors compliance to our own set of excellence standards including the InCharge “Standards of Excellence,” “Client Bill of Rights,” and “Complaint Resolution” documented processes.
