(Orlando, Fl) — In its “Personal Finance Guide for Military Families,” published
February 23, 2009, Kiplinger.com has listed MilitaryMoney.com as one of the country’s
leading sources for money management information for U.S. servicemembers and
their families. The list, compiled by Kiplinger’s Contributing Editor Kimberly Lankford,
was published in an effort to assist military families in handling their personal
financial situations, particularly in cases of deployment and extended periods away
from home.
“We are very excited to be included in this year’s Kiplinger list of 28 financial
Web sites for military families,” said Alberto M. Duarte, president and CEO of InCharge
Education Foundation, Inc., a nonprofit organization that produces MilitaryMoney.com
and Military Money magazine. Both the magazine and the Web site receive generous
support from www.SaveAndInvest.org,
a project of the
FINRA Investor Education Foundation. Duarte continued, “We are extremely
proud of our top ten status on the Kiplinger.com list and delighted at the positive
force MilitaryMoney.com has become for servicemembers and their families throughout
the world.”
