InCharge Debt Solutions assists with Orlando “MHA” program
Workshop to help homeowners avoid mortgage default attracts more than 1,000

(Orlando, FL) — Twenty-three Certified Credit Counselors from the Orlando-based
nonprofit InCharge Debt Solutions spent an afternoon and early evening assisting
at the December 3, 2009, “Making Home Affordable Foreclosure Prevention Workshop.”
The event was sponsored by the U.S. Department of the Treasury and the U.S. Department
of Housing and Urban Development.
These free workshops were designed to help the more than 1,000 homeowners in attendance
avoid foreclosure. The “Making Home Affordable” program is an initiative of the
Obama Administration and is designed to help homeowners struggling with possible
mortgage default and to get the housing market back on track. Organizations like
Freddie Mac, Chase, Bank of America and many others were represented and helped
counsel attendees.
InCharge Debt Solutions counselors provided registration help and general information
aid, and received high praise for their efforts and customary outstanding service.
