InCharge Workshops & Outreach Events

We are involved in numerous programs designed to educate those seeking financial literacy assistance. Whether it is an InCharge event or one that we co-sponsor with another quality organization, consumers can find the best information and resources on this page for credit counseling, money management, and more.

Interested in partnering with us on a community service project or having us talk to your group about financial literacy topics? We welcome the opportunity to further our mission of improving financial literacy and can share our knowledge with groups small or large in the areas of credit counseling, bankruptcy, budgeting, debt solutions and housing counseling among others.

Please note: all of the classes above are offered on Saturdays, but InCharge Education Foundation classes may be offered on other days and at different times depending on demand. In-person classes are $25 per attendee.

Housing Counseling

InCharge Debt Solutions, a nonprofit organization approved by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), can help consumers in the state of Florida with their housing needs. Our Homebuyer Education Workshops will teach you how to navigate the home buying process from start to finish.

Community Service

Community involvement is an important aspect of the culture at InCharge. Employees volunteer their time and money supporting local Central Florida nonprofits.

    The Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (YRRP) is a DoD-wide effort to promote the well-being of National Guard and Reserve members, their families and communities, by connecting them with resources throughout the deployment cycle. Through YRRP events, Service members and loved ones connect with local resources before, during, and after deployments.

    Commanders and leaders play a critical role in assuring that Reserve Service members and their families attend YRRP events where they can access information on health care, education/training opportunities, financial, and legal benefits.

  • Charting a Course to Home Ownership- Homebuyer Education Workshop- July 13, 2013

    Orlando | Dates: 13 – 13 Jul, 2013
    This course is for anyone interested in learning about the path to home ownership. The course includes instruction in the financial and practical aspects of buying and maintaining a home, along with learning the advantages and disadvantages to home ownership. The consumer will also learn about credit report review, creating a budget, debt to income ratios, as well as, different loan programs available and/or down payment assistance programs in the community. An overview of Predatory Lending, Foreclosure Scams, and Closing documents required for closing a loan are also taught in this 8 hour HUD approved course. Certificates are provided upon completion of the class.

    Although all Home Buyer Education classes are free, due to limited seating, pre-registration is required for attendance. Please call 1-877-712-6040 to register Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

    InCharge Debt Solutions ofrece Talleres de Educación para el Comprador de Vivienda en inglés y español para aquellos interesados en aprender más sobre los pasos a seguir durante la compra de un hogar. El taller incluye información sobre los aspectos prácticos y financieros del mantenimiento de un hogar, y las ventajas y desventajas de ser propietario. Incluso, aprenderá cómo crear un presupuesto, revisar su informe crediticio, su proporción de deuda a ingreso bruto y cuáles préstamos o asistencia de pago inicial están disponibles en su comunidad. ¡Recibirá un certificado una vez que complete el taller!
